Currently extremely confused as to how come I cannot just push the injectors into the fuel rail.

We have an O-ring inside the area where the injector is supposed to.

Basically I try to push the one end into the opening on the fuel rail and there is no way i can make it stay in. The o-ring will go into the metal opening and down to the other o-ring but thats as far as it goes.

Should i just be trying to put them in as far as they currently go and then bolt the rail down tight so that the o-rings become compressed together and seal correctly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Tyler

I don`t know why you`re doing this mod . . . anyway, remove the o-rings from the rail & install them onto the top of the injectors. Then, put a little lube (light oil,wd 40) on the outside of the seals & slip them into the rail with the seals on the injectors . . . :talon:
