Hey guys I've been looking to upgrade the fuel system on my car. I was looking at fuel filters and I'm not really sure which one would do good with e85. I was looking at this one
http://www.maperformance.com/fuelab-818-series-in-line-filter-3-length-81801.html
Would this filter do good with e85? What filter element should I get with it?
I also want to but the filter to rail line which would be this one.

What else would I need to install these two items? Does it bolt right up to the stock fuel lines?

Thanks in advanced guys...

The 818 will work fine with E85. Use the stainless steel filter vs the paper element one. Do some research on whether you feel 40 micron is appropriate for E85.

Yes, the filter bolts up to the stock lines that's how mine is attached. The size is -6AN.

The feed kit is perfect, it states in the product description that it includes everything you need so you're good there. With my 828 filter in the stock location, I used a 90º fitting off the filter and a 45º fitting into the rail so the fittings in that kit are perfect.

This is the piece that comes with the kit that is not shown: MAP -6 AN Fuel Rail Adapter (1G DSM 4G63) - Modern Automotive Performance I've had it on and off my rail many times and it still seals fine.

For clarity, when ordering, be sure to mention the intended use to MAP so there is no confusion.

Ok got it. One more question what would be the difference between the 818 and the 828 other than size? Would it be worth the few extra bucks for the 828?

Thanks for your help.

It won't thread into the stock fuel system, you'll need to adapt the hard line to the filter (14x1.5).
