so i have a Fuel Lab filter and feed line on the way, and im trying to figure out what adapters i need to connect my stock line to the new -6an filter.

which one do i need?

Mitsubishi Evo/Eclipse DSM Metric to -6AN Fuel Line Adaptor [TN-DSM6I] - $24.99 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce -i cant seem to justify spending $28 on this thing....

or will this one work? its cheaper but i dont know if its the right one-

That looks like it for the bottom of the filter. What about the top?

that fitting is to adapt AN lines to your Fuel Pumps hardline to be able to run braided line all the way up

Yes IF you run AN lines front to back.

IF you want to run a aftermarket fuel filter instead of the OEM upfront, then you need this fitting with a -6 AN coupler.
My mistake yes you are right also at the factory hardline into the filter!
We both get points LOL
