Ok it's been a long time since I've ripped into a dsm and I've searched some so I'll ask. My buddy bought a gsx that needs some love and has already destroyed the front diff. Anywho he got the front case off and pulled the two nuts off the two top gears. Anywho I'm having a senior moment but There are the two gears towards the top and the vc at the bottom. Are there clips to remove these or is there a certain way they come off? I'm tired of looking and he has limited light so I figured that I'd ask

Are there clips to remove these or is there a certain way they come off?

There is a clip on the viscous coupler, but most likely you will need a 3jaw puller to separate the vc from the shaft.
There are two good pages on vfaq.com with some pictures as said

You need a gear puller to pull off the gears, and the viscous coupler has a clip on it that needs to be removed before it will come off. You can buy or rent the puller at autozone.
