Front case

Has anyone changed out front case and tighten the sprocket to bs and be hard to turn ?? Like it's rubbing on case. I have the spacer on the front is there one on the shaft side?? Can put same shaft on old case and spins nice.

I've never had a spacer on any of mine before, none I can recall anyway.

I'm talking about the one that sits under the sprocket and in the seal.

Theres deff no spacer between gear and case. Maybe post a picture so we can help better.

There is no "spacer" for the rear shaft. OP is referring to the piece between the sprocket and the shaft pictured here for the front:

Did you check clearances for the gears in the case?

Yes 19Eclipse90 is right on what I'm talking about. The clearance between the case and gear is .006.
