FRONT CASE OEM or NOT? HELP!!

Hey I purchased this front case from someone on eBay who says its a brand new OEM Mitsubishi 7 bolt front case that he purchased from the dealership. Now after doing research and looking at other oem front cases online I'm a bit skeptical whether its a after market pump or not, please help me out if you really know the difference between real and fake thanks.

Yes that is a oem front case i have one sitting in the garage off my stock 7 bolt an that is the same thing. Your prob looking at the first gen cases and seeing that they are different which they are but that case u have is what u need. Side note make sure there are no scratches in the pump casing i know he said it was new but were talking about your engine here.

okay i was looking at this pic from the extremepsi website but I didnt recieve the front case yet it should be coming soon, but yeah thats a relief i thought I knew for sure it was a fake since he sold it for 50 shipped but ill examine it more when it comes in. but for now check this pic of the oem pump from extremepsi this is ### i was talking about.....

did you compare it to the extremepsi link pic or buschurracing pic? i see many differences just compare it again you'll see what im talking about

That extremepsi picture you have is not a 2g front case.

I was about to say that it wasn't exactly a 7g bolt 2g front case untill I read the replies.

One looks to be an OEM casting and the other is some other party, I have both and the 3rd party casting leaked out right above the 14mm bolt.

hey I recieved the front case today and still dont know if its a oem or not I see the g6k engraved in the casting but dont see any part number, and my oem gasket set comes with brown seals i have one brown and one black seal in the front case.

DOES ANYONE HAVE PICS OF AN OEM 7BOLT FRONT CASE? thanks

It should have the same casting numbers as the one that came off your engine.
