Hi all I recently bought a used block and upon inspection I found the bolt that holds the front case on is broken. How can I remove it or do I need too?

Yes you wanna remove it. There's only a few things like use a screw extract set which you can pick up at the part store for like $10. Or you can try heating it up and try to use vice grips if there's some of the stud hanging out. Good luck
