I'm posting this for a friend that needs help fast so he dont loose his job and so he can see his kids that are in his home town in florida. He came here to michigan having some running issues and they got worse. We ended up having to tear down the complete engine and rebuilding it due to major internal wear. The engine has been rebuilt from a polished crank, new pistons, all the way to a freshly rebuilt head.

1. The issues hes having is that the idle is a bit weird like a pulsing idle but its a slow pulse and the ISC is perfect and adjusted properly.

2. The AFR's are all over the place on the AEM uego at idle and cruise at under 3k rpms.

3. When trying to take off fast or slow it hessitates really bad like its lacking or getting to much fuel (kinda like beeing in to high of a gear at low speeds)

4. Between 2k - 3k rpms its breaking up really bad and almost acts like a stock dsm with the maf unplugged when they try to give it throttle.

*HIS SETUP*
1995 Eagle Talon Tsi FWD 5-speed
14b turbo
GM IAT Sensor
4 Bar Omni
Denso 660cc (cleaned and flowed in at an average of 690cc)
Stock 2g FPR and pump
Greddy style FMIC with long route piping
HKS SSQV v1
Coil On Plug (Chrysler 300 Coils)
V3 Full ECMlink
CAS conversion (RRE simplified instructions)

ANY AND ALL INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AS WE NEED THIS DONE FAST.

Thank-You in advance!

Car was running fine when we just took it out, then after about 2 mins into our driving, it fell flat on its face when the car pegged LEAN. Hope these clips will help you help me.

Paul posted this thread and I'm just adding as I'm still awake running threw wiring and inspections. It was from my laptop for his tune. The version of ECMlink I have installed on my laptop is V3.24.70

Did you uncheck cylinder misfire under dtc tab? Using a 1g cas without unchecking that will throw the car into a type of limp mode even though its a 5 speed. Trust me it happened to me, car was pegged full lean until I turned it off and it would happen again.

We got sick of the issue and returned it back to stock with the maf and everything down to stock 450cc injectors. It's still doing the same thing on a non eprom ecu with all the factory equipment and sensors installed.

Could it be a bad engine harness that's causing the issues. I have been searching for details on this issue and can't find any results on other peoples issues that resembles these issues he's having.

Paul is currently in Wisconsin as I just got off the phone with him for another check in on the cars running status. It's not what we want to do to a fresh engine but he had no choice as work and kids are important and needs to be attended to. It's running lean, jerking and hesitating, mpg's are ungodly awful sucking fuel, and the wideband is reading that its pegged lean and won't come back to any richer, it died once while driving at a stable 55mph, takes more than 1 try to get it started when hot (possibly due to the fuel pressure control solenoid beeing delete).
THE TALON WILL BE PARKED AND NOT DRIVEN TILL THESE ISSUES ARE FIXED. Just to clarify so no one says to park it.

I have arrived at my location.

Just the clearify the mpg would have been better, but with the car pegged lean so much the AEM couldnt even give a reading, I was not able to get up to a nice speed with RPM. I just drove this car about 600 miles with these driving conditions which I very much didn't want to do, but had no choice. When the car was bogging out and lean, it would loose power and struggle to even make it up the hills on the hwy.

He put everything back to the link setup, 660's, sd sensors, and unchecked the box. It's still doing the same thing.
