Hey guys,
So Im about to fire up my fresh rebuild. I pretty much just have to prime the motor now and start her up. :) Theres only one thing im not too sure of though..

I have a 90 OFH on my motor. The plan was to use my B&M kit but do to certain circumstances (long story) I went ahead and blocked the holes up. Im asuming there wouldn't be a problem since I see alot of people running the forward facing OFH's.

But I was just recently told that the 90 OFH's have a "thermostat" which blocks the oil from going through the holes when cold and opens when it warms up. So since I blocked off the holes, when the oil warms up, my motor wouldn't be getting any oil:confused:

Is there any truth to this guys?? I will not be running my car like this for long, Im thinking a week tops. Please do not respond with "just get an oil cooler" like I said, do to certain circumstances I need my car ASAP.

If anyone with actual experience doing this could please point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!!:thumb:

Well to anybody that might be wondering the same thing, looks like this will work for a temporary fix. Im going to see how it goes later on today..
