my cousin just gave me a slightly used rfl bov. i have the gm maft (blowthrough) installed but i'm just wondering if it is even worth installing, as the 1g bov works quite well. i will also need to buy the adaptor to fit on my uicp which is about $60. the sound of the bov is not a major factor but if the rfl will hold about 20psi without leaking i figure i might as well try it. it is the newer redesigned version if that makes a difference.

If you are not concerned about more sound, sell the damn thing on the classifieds and buy something you need/want.

I bought a turbo XS H34 when I first got my DSM, and it leaked. It leaked at idle and it leaked badly in boost. The metal on metal seal they have just can't hold air. Sell it, throw it away, whatever, don't use it. The 1g BOV is far superior.
