im currently working on building a 6botl bottom with a 2g head
i just have a couple questions regarding compatibility.

will the 2g front case, water pump and oil pump bolt up to the 1g block?

the front case is the oil pump and they are different. dont put a 2G head on a 6 bolt have you ever looked at a 1G head vs a 2G head side by side? OMG what a huge difference in port size.

Why would he not? A 2g head has a better design flow for the street.

This is just my opinion, so please let's not start the whole 1g vs 2g head for the millionth time.

I thought there was a debate on this and the 2g head is actually better due to velocity over volume?

Someone please verify this.

Its all a freakin debate...Lets stay on topic...he asked a "Can this work" question, not a "Should I" question.

everything and i mean everything is goin to be 6bolt ... ie: timing components, front case, and waterpump ... i just went through this with my build -=D hope this helps

oh ok im just wondering about the oil pump because ive seen threads where they say the 2g pump is more efficient than the 1g but dont remember if it bolted to the 6 bolt or not.
