This is not a can i do a 4g63 swap if i get a motor question.

I was supposed to drop some serious cash on building my engine through slowboy but upon acquiring some time on a lift i discovered mother nature has not favoted my 1g gsx. that being said all plans to build it cam to a halt. I recently purchased a 98 gs and now ive got a crappy 420a. I know if i want a gst i should have bought it but having gsx donor car willing and able and having full access to a shop where ive got 2 welders at my disposal and countless equipment to make this feasible what are some key points anyone might see as an obstruction to progess? according to slowboy all i need is a wiring harness but i beg to differ. I work at a shop where everything is fabricated on a daily basis.

Nothing from your GSX will work on the GS, Maybe the wheels.

Unless you wonna fabricate new chassis mounts for the motor and trans. Then the world is your playground.

well the motor and tranny mounts i assumed already had to be fabbed but thats not even the hard part. The whole making th motor fit positioning it and getting all new mounts made up is the simplest part because i do similar work like that on a weekly basis i would assume i would need some custom axles and stuff. I just need someone whos done it or knows something to point out any key areas, the place where i have the gsx is giving me 3 days to get it out of there so im gonna keep motor trans ecu harness and everything i think i need and scrap the body, anyone need anything from a 1ga awd let me know before the junk yard gets it
