FP Race manifold heat shield?

The hose on the dipstick is just some high temp silicone hose from napa I believe(which comes in the ugliest color possible ). I put it on there so the heatshield didnt rattle or rub on the tube. You can see I also used it on my turbo coolant lines.

And if all you need is the top shield its even more simple to make. Heres some good links

Bumping this up, I've got a new heat shield fabbed up to fit the FP manifold, made out of brushed stainless, attaches with no visible bolts. You can see more pics in the Freelancer section or PM me.

I used the spot by the timing cover and the one where the oe shield bolts to the turbine housing for mine.

I am by ohare....that background is actually in detroit. I go back and forth between chicagoland and detroit a lot.

I love my ptp blanket! Fits perfect and havnt had one single issue. Also if you get black you can easily touch up with vht black if needed.
