When I bought my GSX it came with the 4" FP Intake system, but no coupler for me to use it with my 16G. I was gonna order the coupler but I thought about if the intake even allowed for the MAF to be hooked up. I left the intake at a friends house thats on vacation right now so I can not just go look. Anyone know if the FP Intake is made for SD or similar setup and not to use the MAF?

They come with what they say is an offset reducer to connect to the turbo. Depending on your j pipe, you can probably get a regular silicone reducer to work.
A regular reducer has a good chance of causing clearance issues between the intake and the lower radiator hose.

If you plan on running the 16g, I wouldn't bother using the 4" intake. Get something cheap like a dejon or injen design that will fit to a 2g MAF and has the same size diameter as a 16g inlet.
