I’m currently swapping a 2g 4g63t into my 87 d50. I need a cold air intake and a MAF sensor and I’m clueless as to what MAF I need. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

It’s a 1996 with a stock ecu. How do I find out what it needs? Please excuse my ignorance, I’m used to workin on old Shovelheads, big learning curve
 
96 is in the 95-99 model year for a 2G Eclipse GST/GSX. The MAF for that ECU will be a 2G MAF.

You might as well start looking for a socked E-PROM ECU and ECMLink v3 programmable e-prom upgrade to allow for real tuning. Sticking with a Stock ECU will hold you back - and make it so you HAVE to buy/locate all the stock 2G stuff - Injectors, fuel pump, etc etc..

Did you locate a engine wiring harness?

Garage kept original everything including thrown rod. Was hoping it “ran when parked” like I was told but no luck. I only paid what it was worth without a good motor. Should be a sleeper

Stock fuel pump is an in tank, 190lph pump. 450cc injectors.
The mighty max has a mechanical fuel pump in the head, nothing in fuel tank. So 450cc in-line pump?

190lph high pressure inline pump maybe? I forget exactly but the base fuel pressure that climbs with boost is about 37-42 psi at idle. Your’re going to need to work out a high pressure supply line to the fuel rail, and a low pressure return line to the tank from the other end of the rail after the fuel pressure regulator
