2G FP fuel pump sound

So I got lucky and scored a 255 fuel pump from forced performance. I just finished the install and have a question about the sound. I was expecting a consistent whine but getting a weird hum instead. Sounds like I have a bee hive under my back seat. Is this what I'm supposed to hear? I'll see if I can get it of video tomorrow morning.

Its normal to hear that sound from a 255.

I purchased one.. might go and trade it for a 190..

If you have exhaust done, you won't even hear it.

I don't care about the whine, I've had high performance fuel pumps before. This one just didn't sound right.
