Just wondering what you guys think safe boost levels would be Without a SAFC.

My car is a 98 Gst 2g and has installed currently.

Greddy Big fmic,
Greddy Upper / Lower IC piping
Greddy BoV
3inch downpipe and Catback exhaust.

I plan on getting the FP Big T28 550 injectors and a fuel pump.

Any ideas :)

If you're getting bigger injectors, get some kind of fuel tuning capabilities. Otherwise you're going to run pig rich, which isn't exactly a good thing.

As far as how much boost to run, couldn't tell you...invest in a logger, and turn it up until you start to get knock, then turn it back down.

so whats the limits of the stock fuel system with fp big t28.. im already running rich as hell if i kept it tou about 16lbs of boost would that be safe?

I run mine at 15psi.

I took my time getting there though, I started at 12.

well the fpbig28 is the equivilent of a 16g, so basically what, 15 pounds is what is recommended you don't go over? Anyway don't add injectors and fuel pump without fuel control. Just because you have the fuel there does not mean that you are getting it at the right times.

im running the bigt28 at 18 psi on stock fuel aside from a rewired pump, and i am still running rich like a bastard. timing isnt being pulled anywhere, but i always run 95 octane so that may have something to do with it.

Dont play around and half ass it. Get management or a SFC soon. Spend your money there and youll enjoy ir more. Get it b4 that FMIC or anything else. Get the management, insted of the SAFC imo.

Anyways, i ran 19psi-23psi with no Safc. It surged, due to gas issues, but i enjoyed that turbo. I had it on a 1g though, with some internal mods.
