FP 18G- coolant lines anyone????

OK, I installed my FP 18G, I realized that there werent coolant lines, just oil feed/return lines. So I plumbed my coolant feed line- into my coolant return, I havent started it yet, but is this ok????????

Yea it's fine, just make sure you have a turbo timer or let the car cool down. I also got an upgraded oil cooler and fed the turbo from the oil filter housing to make sure its gets as much cool oil as possible.

With a oil cooled only turbo, definitely make sure you don't run the car hard and not have a way to let it cool down. If you do, buy a turbo timer.

I ended up using a non-turbo water pipe so I didnt have to reroute any of the coolant lines.

I just sealed mine off, but the nt pipe is another way to accomplish that. I did however loop my coolant lines for my oil to water cooler when I went to the 90 air cooled setup.
