Hello, not really sure where to post this, seeing as how I'm a noob. But I just bought this turbo for my all stock 94 GSX. I blew mine and wanted to upgrade for future upgrades so I bought this one. So I'll be getting it soon and I will post how it is running stock boost levels. Then, eventually how it is after I get some mods on it.

If you guy's have any insight, be not afraid to say.
 
great turbo... comparable to a 20G turbo...

and yes just be sure not to run past stock boost because you need to upgrade the fuel system....
 
Congrats on the new turbo purchase! The Forced Performance 18g is a good turbo with characteristics like a evoIII 16g but flows more in the top end.
 
FP 18G-6SL2 is an awesome turbo!! I've had the 14b, E316g, FP Green, & I'm currently running the FP 18G-6SL2.... This turbo is great! There are a couple of tracks nearby that are 1/8 mile tracks, so that's what I built this car for(pump gas and 1/8 mile). So far, just street tuning with little to no knock, I've ran 8.2 @ 88mph on pump gas, and 7.9 @ 93mph on a 50/50 mix of 93/114 octane. A couple of weeks ago I took it to Rockingham, 1/4 mile, and ran 12.38 @ 112mph on a 50/50 mix of 93/116 octane. Car is full weight, a/c, front/rear seats, spare tire, etc...:rocks:
 
I am considering picking one of these up. Is it a direct bolt on? No need for install kit? I have a stock sidemount. What intercooler pipe is suggested to make this work with my current setup. Just need it to hold me over until I can save for porting, fmic, and fuel mods/management

well you should wait till you have more mods:confused:, before installing a turbo as big as the 18g, if you dont have the fuel and some kind of tuning to support over 22psi...
