car had some coolant lines blocked off when purchased. need to know the routing of the coolant lines. i believe that i may have a non turbo water pipe also.

The N/T water pipes are generally used for larger-than-stock turbos that are not water cooled. You can tell if a turbo pipe as there is a large "bung" on the bottom of the pipe on the compressor side. If you turbo is water cooled (14B/16G/20G) then you NEED that line connected to your turbo or it will fail in short order. The water outlet from the turbo connects to the thermostat housing.

The coolant passages in question are likely the FAIV (valve that boost idle speed on cold starts) on the throttle body. A line goes from the water pipe to the TB and then out to the Thermostat housing. It doesn't really matter which way the lines go on the TB. If the prior owner blocked off the FAIV, then no reason to hook up the water lines to the TB :dsm:
