i really need connect coolant lines to TDO5 turbo 16G or 18G ???
any suggestion ??

i already have 18g in my dsm just simple question need connect coolant lines or can drive without connecting ??

are you asking if you need to connect your coolant lines from the thermostat to the turbo lines or if you can just leave them unhooked and drive, if so why wouldn't you hook them up?

Please type in complete sentence, proper spelling, punctuation, etc. We'd really appreciate it.

If the turbo is a wet housing, then YES you need to connect the coolant lines.

yes turbo have wet housing. when i drive without water line what happen on turbo ?? shorter life ???

Generally, yes. The oil that will be flowing to lubricate the turbo won't be able to cool it down and will see excessive heat, causing shorter oil life, oil coking on the turbo parts, and eventually will probably kill the turbo.

Remember to use proper spelling and complete sentences please.

sorry for my English i try my best.

i use full synthetic oil is more resistant for coking. i try disconnected water line because coolant start leaking from back turbo housing and no have time for remove turbo , nothing change only engine cool down faster. EGT same.

where are you leaking at ??? you could just have a lil crush washer leak, from what i understand you are saying your turbo already has your coolant lines hooked up right ??? if so then leave them on LOLjust see whats leaking man , dont go running without them
