found a fidanza N/T flywheel...

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

The auction in the link is for Fidanza part # 161781 which fits any 7-bolt turbo FWD.

The part # for the 1.8L N/T flywheel is #161771. It weighs 9.5 lbs and fits all 90-94 1.8's.
Fidanza also shows a flywheel for the 90-92 6-bolt N/T's (#161841), but I do not show one for a 93-94 N/T.

my bad, posted wrong link, here it is:

like I said, I know it's for a 1.8 but if you look at the bolt pattern it has more then the 1.8's 5 bolts, my f***ing clutch just went out on my way to work, I think, put it in any gear but it doesn't move, clutch goes in and out fine.
anyhow, I didn't want to lighten the flywheel in case it shattered.

I think this is it, sorry for all the confusion, I just found out anyhow that the brakes locked up and that the clutch (i hope) is ok, but this is stil a great upgrade for you 1.8's

:EDIT: O.K., this one works

If that is an actual picture of the 1.8L n/t flywheel, no it will not work.

I didn't even look at that. I was looking more towards the dowel pins and bolt hole configuration for the clutch.

I guess you could say i did. I had a bad experience with ordering a turbo instead of a NT. I hate being in a rush. My best advice to anyone is watch what ya ordering. So we customized it after it rubbed the bell housing and put a hole in the differential. So we grinded it down and put the gears from my old flywheel on to the new flywheel and i haven't had a problem sense. So ya there good just order the right one and don't be dumb like me.

I bought the fidanza aluminum flywheel for a turbo 6-bolt and after I blew my turbo engine i installed the flywheel along with my act 2100 clutch and turbo 5-speed transmission onto my 6-bolt non-turbo engine and it works just fine.

beyond me how you fit the turbo tranny on the nt, since the engines are pretty much mounted different ways

EDIT and now that I look at the thread above you's date, congratulations, you are the new gravedigger.

Stick to what you know, evidently, its not a 1g. The 1g n/t's came with both 4g37 and 4g63. Both were mounted in the car the same way. Its the 2g n/t that was the bastard child.

When I said I put it on my 6 bolt non-turbo I was implying the 2.0 16 valve DOHC 4G63 naturally aspirated engine. And about the date of the last post that is because there isn't much action going on in the 1g n/t forum but I would like to see that change.
