I was actually excited to see some results from you, as a fellow 420A lover. Were you running slicks or drag radials?

I see it now, I started it and switched back to Facebook a second.

Actual tire was a Falken Azenis RT 615k same listen in my profile, so no to both the the radial and slicks, but as 96 AWD said, its listed in the video. I was gonna barrow some drag radials, but left my key for my lugs at home, I am glad I did though, just proving that this can be accomplished without slicks.

Well what it can truly do will change from year to year. Next year planning high comp, with better tuning, possibly long tube headers, and slicks. I actually bought some aluminum wheels this years, but couldn't fit the rubber into the budget for them

What I mean is, I want to see your progression and hopefully entrance into the 13s. I have great respect for what you are doing. My little 420A holds a special place in my heart and I took the turbo kit off to attempt something similar to you.

Looking good man. You would be suprized what you can do with a high comp build. I had a Short-wheel base SC running 12.9s with a 11.0:1 1.9l saturn engine.

My boy bradley has a fully built 420a eclipse gutted. He is running 11.5:1, an extra injector controller, long tube header, AEM CAI, cams, SMIM, a 60mm throttlebody, Running low 14s. If he would listen to me and get some suspension and run slicks he might break into the 13s. He is running my old megasquirt for tuning.

 As far as me or anyone else from the 2GNT community is aware of there are currently no other NA 420a's running the in 14s (beyond mark of course)

I think a lot of it was the quaife, because of the disgustingly awesome 60's I was pulling, but then again the moving of the powerband to the right could of also helped with the 60'... like we were talking about in the staging lanes, its all theory :p

Ah yes, I forgot about the Quaife addition. Yup, that's also gonna help.

He only runs locally. Doesn't post here. He was on here at one point. But he just said to hell with this site after less than a week of being on here. He also doesn't have internet at home so... I could see why no one has heard of him. The saturn was disgustingly light. But it also didn't last very long at 11.0:1. After that I was like nope. 12.9 Isn't fast enough for this car and it was running on the ragged edge the entire season I had it.

I will say I like where your going, and hope the High Comp build works well for you. 420a is a bit more durable to the high abuse than a 1.9l dohc saturn engine. Aluminum blocks suck.
