I'll be purchasing a forrester intake very soon and I dont know whether or not to get a larger throttle body yet. I see people running low 11's and high 10's with the stock 1g 60mm and thats as far as I would ever want to go with this car. it is a street car and i dont want to sacrifice reliability with hacing no ISC and i also hear tales of larger tb's breking the shaft under high boost. but then again I dont want to have a bottleneck in the system either. next option is maybe i'll have roadrace enlarge mine to 64mm but that costs like 250$ and I just dont know if its worth it. btw I'm running a 60-1 on built forged 6 bolt block, with 272/272, ss valves, springs, retainers, 880cc, dsmlink, etc... any advice or personal experience whether it be 1st hand or 2nd hand would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Every little bit helps.

IF you haven't boughten your I/C piping yet. I'd say go with the larger TB. and then Run Matching I/C piping.

You can get away with running Stock TB and matching I/C piping and still put out decent numbers, but if you want to Maximize your setup go with the larger one.
