I just installed a Forrester SMIM with 75mm throttle body.Everything went smooth except for the the throttle cable install.Anyone who has installed the FRH manifold with mustang tb maybe they can help me ? My throttle cable feels like total shit and it's not opening all the way ? Can you please give me some tips on how u installed yours?

Not sure which throttle body you have, i'm using the Wilson Manifolds 75mm with the custom JAM wheel, i had to make a aluminum bracket that bolts up to the manifold and than drill and tap the bracket to secure the throttle cable to it which brings it closer to the throttle body as it was originally to far away where it would not even reach it.

I'm using a 75mm BBK .Do you have any pics of how you made it?

good idea....i think i have a way to make this work w/o the jackson adapter.

That adapter is actually a aluminum wedge block i had laying around from my 4X4 truck i had at one time, i cut part of it off, drilled and tapped the holes for the throttle cable and bolted it on to the manifold.

ok...i just got it to work.I'm just not used to the light spring pressure of the mustang tb. So , what kinda differences did you notice with a larger tb?

you can always take the spring out and twirl it tighter one full turn. that may help. or try two turns. i did it to my stock tb. i like it.

i'll have to that another day ...i'm trying to get this mofo running again once i get my coupler in the mail.

just got it running. It doesn't idle so bad once the car starts warming up. Revs much faster now.I need to to drive this darn thing to really give a review on it.Now i gotta figure out why my tachometer is not working.

Are any of you guys using DSMlink? Have you made any changes to the TPS adjustment to dial in the throttle position?

In my opinion it is a pain in the ass to set it up because for me it was always inconsistant. I kinda gave up on setting that. The only thing i did was set the tps to read 3% so it have me 99% full throttle and i just set the tps adjustment -3 on dsmlink. I eliminated the ISC completely because after going through 4 of them i got tired of spending money on those. I just use the Biss Screw now to adjust idle. It is alot better frankly.

I'm bringing this discussion back to see if someone might have some ideas on how I can solve a problem I'm having with the Wilsons TB/JAM throttle wheel. It seems that the throttle cable keeps slipping off the wheel causing problems while I'm on the road course. Sometimes it sticks at WOT. I tried to fabricate a small guide to keep the cable from moving too far off to one side but it doesn't seem to have worked. Any ideas on what I might try?
