i know i know not another supercharged dsm forum.......BUT WAIT!!!!!

i seen this the other day i dont know how it worked but it worked......

this guy i know took a smog pump off a plymouth horizon 2.2L and hooked it up.....belt driven and all he ran the piping like a turbo piping even had a MAF.....

but what was more amazing is that it acually worked i wish i had pics of this i"ll see if i can get some....but how long would this work??

would it eventually cause problems?
i mean it didnt need any coolant lines or oil lines so...........

feedback on this would definetly be appreciated........

If its the type of pump I think your talking about thier designed to suck more-so than blow. Also the amount of airflow and pressure one of those could create or more importantly sustain for anything more than idle speeds wouldn't be sufficient for a 5hp briggs, much less a 2.0l engine.

Plain and simple it wont work...

The volume a smog pump puts out is far too little to supercharge a car with.

God, how I hated those goddamned things. And that no one realized they weren't so much "afterburning" as charge dilluting. Idiots, idiots, idiots.
