Just got my Clutch Masters clutch in. The instructions say the flywheel step height needs to be -.610. I am installing it with a Fidanza flywheel. Fidanza says the flywheel is machined to stock height. Is stock height -.610 or does it need to be modified before I can install it?

Yes, stock height is -.610. Just had mine done about 4 months ago. If you have a decent set dial calipers you can check it for your self. ( just to be sure)

You mean -.610, right? Not trying to be picky, just making sure stock is stepped down to -.610, not stepped up to .610, since Clutch Masters calls for it to be stepped down.

Great. I was going to be pretty blown if I had to spend anymore money on this setup. Thanks guys.

ok now that he s done with the thread, my turn

getting an ACT 2100 pressure plate and act street disk

im going to resurface my flywheel

what step does the act 2100 with street disk need?

with in what perameters?

ive heard -.612 to -.608 is this correct??

and what is my flywheel at right now ( its stock )

just trying to get some info so the guy resurfacing can do his job ( hes a royal prick but does good work so id just rather drop the thing off tell him the numbers and pick it up and leave )

Stock is -.610

You can ask someone from where ever you plan on ordering from on just contact ACT. I'm sure they would be able to tell you what the step height needs to be.

act runs a step height of .610 most if not all clutch company's run stock step height because they all don't sell flywheels so it would be assuming its going on a stock flywheel.
i do not think this rule applies to twin disk clutch set-ups
