I bought this car dead bent valves and im rebuilding it... i just got the tranny out and im putting in an act 2,600lb clutch.... well the deal is the a new factory clutch was put in under 30k ago and the flywheel was resurfaced with the new clutch install... I was wondering do you think i should get the flywheel resurfaced again?

Like Defiant said, just go ahead and do it. It isn't worth risking a $350 clutch and all that time just because you are too lazy to get the flywheel resurfaced. It usually is cheap and only takes a couple of hours (I drop mine off in the morning and pick it up at lunch) and can mean the difference between a great clutch and one that just never 'feels right'.

with different frictional disks what do you measure, because im using clutchnets frictional disk. i've been bothering people about this for a while, sorry, i just want it done right.
thanks a lot,
later
