Going to get my "new" flywheel resurfaced Monday because it has some heat marks. Usually I just take my flywheels to the local machine shop and let them resurface them but since I'm dealing with a aftermarket one my question is would I be ok just getting it resurfaced? Or should I get the step height checked to? What is the step height for this flywheel? I plan on running a stock clutch setup. Thanks guys.

If its getting resurfaced the step height needs to be checked. The step height should be .608" to .610" I had my ACT flywheel resurfaced at a local machine shop and they had no problem with it being aftermarket.

Ok thanks for that. Its a expensive flywheel that's why I doubled checked. And seeing it as I've never dealt with them before I figured I would ask the community since I knew someone had to have some experience with it.
