act XACT fly wheel resurfacing

Was wondering if I should resurface this? I bought it and the seller said it has never been installed or used but has been sitting on a shelf for a while out of the package. It’s got what looks like pitting and this one smudge on it that won’t come out. Also do the act clutches come correctly stepped from the factory for our cars? Thanks again

Regardless of it you get it resurfaced or not, you need to at least take it in to someone to measure the step height. They should tell you if it needs to be resurfaced or not and also check it for free or really cheap, and resurface it for $40 or so.

Looks brand new to me. I'd just take a wire wheel to the surface and clean up all the junk and install
