Flywheel bolt Nightmare, Help!!!

Im trying to get the flywheel bolts off with my impact gun and a 17mm socket. I managed to get all but one off. The last one as soon as I went for it stripped the head. There isnt even a flat surface, its completely round! Ive since taken a tap and a hammer trying to get it to brake loose but am having no luck. Im about to bust out the torch and see if that helps. Any ideas other than welding to the bolt (I dont have a welder)? Thank you very much!

Air hammer with a chisel. Wouldn't hurt to warm it up with the torch first. Then let it cool completely before going after it with the chisel.

Well ill tell you my experience.. A clutch spring popped out and rounded off all of my flywheel bolts.. So we got one of those impact hammer guns that do what a mini jack hammer would do.. We made some flat edges and pounded on an old socket to get it off.. We managed on the other 6 give them enough edge to get them off with a impact gun.. good luck

HEAT IT UP!!!!!!!

Someone most likely loctited it on there. Heat is the ONLY thing that releases loctite. Also Make sure you only use a 6 POINT socket on those. NO 12 point sockets.

At this point I would heat the Bolt head and heat a 6 point 17mm socket and pound it on the bolt head. Then try the air gun

Heat up the entire area with a torch and then spray the bolt (ONLY the bolt) with a can of compressed co2 (air duster, check computer aisle) held upside down. This will freeze the bolt damn near instantly (be veeeery careful not to spray yourself with it, it's about -109* and will freeze-burn your skin.

Yeah, I was retarded and used a 12 point which is why it stripped. It is so stripped it is a complete circle, not one edge. I used a torch on it then tried a tap and a hammer but couldnt get it to budge.

Take a grinder and reshape the bolt. Then try to get a 6 point on it, if not use a pipe wrench and heat that bolt so it glows.

If you are not able to reshape the head and get a smaller socket on it then you can go buy one of these bolt extractors.
