Any one have a trick to gettin the flew plate bolts out of the crank? I have a 2.4l auto motor im trying to the the flex plate bolts out of. All but 3 came out. no matter what i do these other 3 wont come out. Anyone got any ideas?

Even with a good socket or wrench its just trying to round off. I can keep the crank from turnin thats not a prob. They just wont break loose.

I had the same problem with mine. Just spray some pb blaster on it and let it set for a couple mins. And keep pressure against the bolt so you dont round it off. If that dont work then get an air rachet before it rounds out.

I"ve tried pb blaster didn't do any good. I've put a impact on it didn't work. I tried a impact screwdriver you hit with a hammer that didn't do any good. tried

RESOLVED I took a angle grinder and went around the head cutting into the ring between the bolt and the flexplate. They backed right out after that. They where rusted to the ring. Once the rust was broke loose they came right out.
