Shiloh,
I pulled two codes with mmcd this morning. One was Coolant temp. sensor (21) and the other was (44) Ignition coil. I think I know why my cool temp sensor is coding, because the wire going into the plug is frayed right at the plug. How would I go about fixing this? There is only about a centemeter's worth of wire until I'm at the plug itself, and it doesn't look like I can pull the plug apart to put new connectors and wire in. Anyone have Ideas, or should I just try soldering it? Or is it possible I might get one from a junkyard? (a new master harness from Mitsu is 600 bucks) The othe question is what is a good aftermarket ignition coil? I've heard good things about the MSD DIS-2, but at 350 its kinda steep. Is it worth it, or should I get an OEM coil, or is there some other coils that you guys have had good luck with?
