Before anyone gets all excited thinking that 17" RFP1s will clear Evo X front brakes, the answer is No, they won't. People are talking about Evo 8/9 brakes in this thread.

AFAIK, Exo X brakes require 18" wheels. 17x8.5 +40 RPF1s clear the Evo VIII/IX's front brakes. I will ask the clearance, but that shouldn't be a problem as that guy seems to be running it for a long time.

To clear the evo brakes up front I would assume? Did he say how much clearance he had?

I asked the clearance and he replied that he had almost an inch.

Also, I'd like to see the pic of the Evo X with the 17" RPF1's, if you don't mind, kidtsi. It's not that I don't believe or anything, I just want to see the picture. I love Evo X's and RPF1's.
