Well it has been 2 years since I have heard my own DSM run on its own power. Very excited tonight. The video is horrible, I will be getting a video camera shortly and the pics are not too bad. Enjoy.

And as always, all critics are invited good or bad. I love getting ideas or hearing things to try this or that. Thanks guys for alot of good info and support. And thanks to alot of good companies making kick a$$ parts.

I still have alot of loose ends to finish yet. I plan on driving it by the weekend.

another pa'en gets his dsm running, Im slowly getting mine put back together. Looks great and sounds sweet, I'll be glad when i can make a post like this :thumb:

Nice paint digging the color combo.

I think the next one i build will be pink with camo. cause the next one i build will make 800 hp or more.

That way i can rape someone and ask them how does it feel to be beat by a pink 4 banger.

Congrats. Mine's been down for less than 2 months, and it's already getting to me. That's probably because I know it will be another several months before it's back on the road, too.

Sounds mean. I like.

The engine bay just looks small because all the unnecessary things have been taken out. It doesn't look so full and wide.

I fixed the wastegate for all the guys telling me that it is not a good idea to dump into the engine bay.

I finished the front end about 95%. Just have to adjust the lights, hood, and fenders alittle bit.

I actually drove it under its own power today. That was about all I got done today. Tomm. I have to finish up some fuse box wiring and install the rest of the interior parts.

Here are some more pics for your ( well mine too) viewing pleasure ( I hope).

That's gonna suck changing your oil filter. should have mounted it the other way. Now when you change the filter as soon as you break the seal all the oil from the filter is gonna leak onto the floor, drain pan, -AN fittings & SS lines, OFH adapter, ect.. Not too late to change that... Just my opinion.

Other than that LOOKS GREAT!!! :thumb:

I've been waiting for you to get this thing done. Been watching the progress. Great Build!!!

Sweet ass car man. Looks like you really paid attention to detail. Love the smoothed and painted engine bay! I've always loved the idea of filling in all the holes in my bay and respraying it when I drop in the 6 bolt....but I'm scared I'll mess up the nice paint whenever I'm fixing/maintaining it.

I have never really had much of an issue with it mounted that way. Alot of it drains back so there is only a small amount in the filter anyway. I originally started this venture in 01'. I did have some of these mods on here previous(not many), but the filter setup was one of them. Its really not to bad.

dude i love ## car...looks sick and sounds even sicker...i can't wait till i get my new dsm...the car i'm getting had been sitting for 2yrs....can't wait...

I think Swain coating that Turbonetics exhaust manifold would really set things off, as well as keeping underhood temps alot cooler. I personally like the white coating they use from a cosmetic point of view, as well as actually being functional unlike other ceramic coatings which are completely useless aside from rust prevention.

Definitely needs an aluminum radiator in there.

1g engine bays are freaking huge in terms of space from the intake manifold to the firewall compared to a 2g DSM.

Awesome 1g, I miss my 91 GS turbo:thumb:
