Ok so my rebuild/swap is officially done and thankfully she fired right up without issue. One problem I am having though is some excessive white smoke from the exhaust. Also, let me add some info on my build:
7bolt longblock rebuilt by Bill @ Shodown Motorsports (stock rebuild)
Stage II Shep Trans
Transfer Case rebuilt by Shep Trans
Aeromotive FPR
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
PTE 680cc Injectors
ACT 2600 With Street Disc
MHI EVO III Big 16G
Forced Performance Cast Race Manifold
Megan Racing o2 Housing
Hallman PRO MBC
AGP Full Race FMIC With Short Route Piping
Greddy Type S BOV (RECIRCULATED)
NGK BPR7ES Plugs (gapped to .026)
Magnecor Wires
Koyo Radiator
FAL Shrouded Fan Kit
DSMLink
I know Ive skipped/missed a lot there but I think that should cover everything needed to help me out...
Anyhow, I was thinking the white smoke was from all the assembly lube used in building the motor. Figured it would burn off, but after letting it idle for some time and taking it around the block, it never got any better.
I know nothing about DSMLink or how to use it yet, but it seemed I was running way rich according to the info I was looking at and was wondering if that could lead to the white smoke? Anyhow, Im going to try to figure out how to post a couple of logs to see if anyone can point me in the right direction....
