hks 272/272 showed up! time to get everything installed!

anyone know about the turbos's? 400/450 hp goal? strictly weekend street monster. it'll probably hit the track once in its life. have manifolds for both of them.

finally getting to put in all these head parts and cams, everythings replaced but stock valves.
you can see the evo springs look a tad smaller then 2g springs
you can also see a big difference in the hole for the lifters.

oh btw if your doing valves for the first time do not get the lisle tool its a joke to use if your not 300+ pounds, tried for a whole night. i just ended up ordered the one made for 4g63 worked flawlessly.

finally got around to finishing the engine bay.
used a volvo black with sparkle in it.

currently building the trans shift kit right now.
still need to order the other trans parts tho.

took everything out down to just being a tub, gas tank wasnt even rusted to bad still had oem undercoating. i recoated the gas tank to flat black, cut out the spare tire carrier and got a flat stock piece welded in, cleaned everything up primed and painted it all flat black.

the saddest part was cutting out the roll cage that definitely wasnt saving anyones lives. it looked good but the welds were trash and they missed the top halfs of the pipes because they built and welded it in the car, which sucks.

after doing the engine bay i can finally put the brake lines and return line back on, i did however change out the oem steel lines for brand new coppper line.

Copper? That seems like a soft metal for high pressure brake line. Am I wrong?

hopefully it doesnt see to much rain or snow, regardless copper doesnt rust it oxidizes it might flake but it shouldnt ever rust out.

oh yeah its not just straight copper but they say this shit shouldnt ever rust out, id say it outlast the car too but f*** do i got a clean dsm to build

those were stock, i put shiny new cams in hks 272's

gas tank installed
brake lines
filler neck installed
that was actually pretty cake. the underside looks so good
rear suspension next, clear the engine bay and then motor can go back in!

big ole pile of suspension parts.
install went great. got to add pads rotors and calipers and then were all set!
still gotta clear the engine the bay
motor back in
interior back together
then we try for first start.
got a few more parts i gotta buy yet tho.

when i bought this car and the guy dropped it off at my house, i never knew i was going to open the glove box to find a play station in there. i bought a tucked away 90's build. i had to go thru the mess of wires from the SAFC and turbo timer. there was also an aftermarket alarm system which was mad annoying, it went pretty smooth tho, its alot cleaner now!
