The threads for the oil drain were not oem 6x100 thread. They were like a standard size. I don't have any standard bolts around me, just loads of metric.
I gave the vehicle some time and picked up some valvoline 20w-50 oil. On the last update, I used 5w30 to check for leak. It's all I had at the moment and didn't plan on running with it.I read from an older post not to use thinner oil cause I'll...
uhh, what does this mean:
"The threads were not the same as oem so I had to tap them out."The holes in the pan were not the same location? or you tapped new threads in the ???
The only threads in a pan would be for the turbo drain.
Not much of an update. Worked on getting the fender and plastics all setup perfectly. With 32 yr old plastic that has been warped over time, it wasn't fun. Having new clips in all the proper places made it difficult to line everything up the...
Jacked the car up and promptly got distracted.First up was this.Just a quick blip of the throttle. No transmission noise, yay! There's still some gremlins, but eh. One step at a time. After I got it jacked up, I got sick of the...

That has probably happened to most of us. Maybe not to the extent of 5 years, but something that should have taken 2 weekends has now taken 2 years and we're left wondering if the gas is any good.
I’ll just put that 20g right here while we wait for an intake manifold gasket, and some new injector clips.I should find some 6mm studs for the oil drain. Its always a PITA to line up the gasket and bolts.I suppose I can finally update the...
i personally think it has something to do with the hangar itself, whether its the electrical port or the lines coming out of it. i had the same hangar and AN lines in my old shell and would do the same thing. ive also done the 1/8 siphon mod too
Speaking of PC done right, I picked up the latest work from Rich - This is so coolLater you will see more of this billet plug cover - It is crazy good. The top surface of the grill is polished aluminum with clear on top, like the letters on...
That’s why I had it shipped to Tim Zimmer. He measured every single bit. It’s .608” everywhere.Like…as in how I clean the holes? Or literally video me impacting them off?
