Well here she is...95 Eclipse GST.... Took some pics and need some insight as to what I have to work with and what I should do with it...motor wise...

Now here is the $100 question....The header has this mount that has the hole welded shut...If I'm right this is where an external wastegate mounts....if I'm wrong...I have no idea what it's for....I'm debating on getting a whole new header/manifold just so I know I've got the right parts.....

I've got a new 20G turbo, FMIC and a lot of tubing and crap that I have no idea where it all goes....so any help is greatly appreciated..

I do know that this car was built by Road race Engineering and then sold to a friend of the guy I got this from...

Yup your correct thats for a external wastegate. I take cash and money orders

Yea they welded the hole shut because they were either running the turbo internally gated or an external gate off the O2 housing.

from what I know the waste gate is attached to the turbo...

I say dump the manifold. Ebay mani will crack

Some ebay mani's hold up for a while, not sure about that xspower one. Most likely your 20g is internally gated

I'm seriously thinking about dumping this manifold and getting a good quality one....any suggestions.

I would get rid of it, the weight of the 20G on that manifold is going to cause it to crack faster than normal. Get yourself a good manifold instead of that thing.

That car looks good. How much did you pay for it?? I live the wheels too.. The manifold don't look bad, It might be Ebay junk but it might last a little while..

Can you weld over the factory welds on the ebay manifolds?

I would say go get a Forced Performance cast manifold. They seem to be a very popular choice with a lot of good feedback.

I have a TD06 20g set up on mine. The Evo manifold will also work well if you wanted to save some dough.

And it is a manifold, not a header
