Well when I just turned 18 I got into some trouble, nothing TOO bad, and it scarred my record. I've had a heck of a time finding a decent paying job. Well my uncles brother does excavation and has been getting TONS of work and only had his nephew working for him and he is only 17 so he cant operate the equipment.

Well he told my uncle he really wants to put me in charge so he can leave and do estimates and get supplies we might need. Some of its hard work, alot isnt really excavation but its not bad! He told me I wouldn't start out making much but if I work out i'd be making great money. Well, I started out at $15/hour which is GREAT for around here. Avg job pays about $9 an hour. Sorry for the rant, I'm just in a pretty good mood :D

It's rough man, especially right now! It definitely helps when you have family who can get you work somewhere. I was working for my fiances uncle maintaining a large historical site he bought. He is filthy rich but was only paying me $8. I wasn't happy about it but did it to make ends meet. Good luck though.

Yeah I left one of the best jobs in my area to go to school at Wyotech. Good for you. But are you gonna have to decide if you are going to go to school or anything. Don't be a fool stay in school!!!LOL

But good luck with your new job and new found sucess. Now you got the money to dump into your DSM!! Don't blow it all on stupid shit all the time like I did. GOOD LUCK BRO!!!

Well I'm restricting myself on what I do to the DSM. I sell stuff on ebay. Alot of stuff. So that money I make is going towards the DSM :)

I have alot of credits and eventually plan on finishing up schooling for IT. This job should enable me to save up a nice down payment though in a year.
