Got a RS, need help

ok, i have a rs. i have a race in march against a damn integra and i wanna show him wut dsm's are made of. i need help trynna put my car together. i have a cold air intake and a short throw shifter. wut else should i do? im also lookin for a gsx, 2g preferably. help me. my project has a $2k spendin limit.

is the integra going to be boosted? if so expect to spend more than 2k for a nice turbo..and what u mean by looking for a gsx you want to buy one? is so then then the gsx is way more power and for sure sure you will take him out in a gsx.

Sell it and whatever you get out of the RS used it towards a GSX, you already got two grand to spend on the RS, why not save it towards a GSX

You said it. You could find a DSM AWD turbo for around 2k alone then use the money from the other car and tune the AWD. With a Turbo DSM you should take that teg stock.
Can you say AWD grab and go!!

my friend almost beat a V8 camaro down the drag races in his stock GSX. It was bone stock with a T25, 130,000 miles, stock BOV, boost level, etc... He ran a 15.2 and the camaro ran a high 14, I though thats pretty good for a car with that many miles. But He redid the motor and dropped EVO pistons in there, and othere stuff. I think he should be able to beat that camaro next year when they have the races again

i also agree, even a gst or talon tsi would be better off and cheap, you could get that and maybe upgrade the turbo, get a good tune and you'll beat it for sure

my near stock 2.0L tib beat out a ws6 by almost 100 feet, he got a surprise but a turboed 2L would definitely rock him

I just picked a gsx and I love it. It'll be worth selling the RS and putting that money towards a turbo dsm.

thats awesome man, i've never had a dsm but 2g have always been my favorite cars, im picking up (hopefully trading my tiburon) an AWD TSI next weekend

Either turbo the rs or sell it and get a gsx or gst.

Don't turbo the RS. You will be spending all your money trying to make it go faster. If the integra

is turbo'd sell the rs and get you a 4g63t powered dsm(gst,gsx,tsi). Besides the best turbo'd 420a ive

seen was my friends old gs he had a hahn 16g kit, built sbr motor and all running on 18psi and the best run

in the 1/4 was a 13.7. With what he spent he could of ran a way better time in a Gs-t or Tsi. In the end

its up to what you want to do.

How to make some quick HP, out of your 420A?
Or where to buy a GSX or TSI? You can look in local classifieds like craigslist,
wait until your a proven member and possibly look in the classifieds here.

I really dont think this thread is very good seeing as you can not just be like, I want a fast car how do i do it. Picking up a turbo model was your best move so far, now just get a few little mods wiht whatever you have being fuel/turbo/intercooler and you will be set and have no problem spanking an integra.
