few noob questions

So...
i experienced what is what we call fuel cut for the first time. .

i installed a big 16g ported td05h .. fmic

took for a test drive.. and wow nice power then all a sudden as I reach full boost. Bam felt like I hit a brick wall for a second and sounded like a back fire

ok so now that I explained that part. What upgrade should I immediately do next.

currently have 300. Dollars saved in my eclipse budget and I'm saving for link .. everything else is
Stock besides turbo. Fmic. Hard turbo intake pipe and ebay greedy knockoff (bov came with when I bought it)

ok and

car has white smoke on start up but goes away with driving? Clean oil and clean coolant.

no leaks. But if I shut it off and start it after first initial start = no smoke

but I noticed while at idle it does smoke a little at a stop light. I can smell it

Do a compression test and check the numbers. Might have a little headgasket issue. Do you have aftermarket boost gauge? What psi did you hit? If running stock wastegate pressure you shouldnt hit fuel cut unless your boost is spiking.

need walbro 255 and some bigger injectors maybe 750cc and FPR

All i have is the stock guage. And it was near full on wot[DOUBLEPOST=1418096342][/DOUBLEPOST]I am ganna get a 255 walboro first.
but won't it run like crap without link to tune it

yes you need a gauge and link ESPECIALLY for running over 14-15 psi

Now if i buy link.. or maybe a ecu that has link installed . Which ecu can i get for a 96 gst auto?
I don't think I can get a black box one..
do I have to get only a 95-96 ecu?

You could use a black box and run evoscan. Its harder to use then link but its free and works well if you know what your doing. First you need a good boost gauge. Stock is complete garabage. Then see whats going on boost wise. If its spiking try porting o2 housing and other fixs. Search, its a common problem. Run stock boost unti you get link. Then add injectors and fuel pump.
