A Few Noob Turbo Questions

ok heres my deal i have all the parts i need for my turbo kit except- gasket for 5 bolt downpipe, gasket for turbo, oil lines and maybe a coupler- i have an intercooler with 2.75 inch outlets on it and im waiting for my pipes to get in and they are 2.5 inch and my question on that is will i need a transition coupler? or can i make it fit by stretching it that quarter of an inch, also i bought my oil line fittings from home depot but now im starting to rethink this who in your opinion has the best oil lines(i dont really want to pay alot im running low on funds) and do i need a gasket for my downpipe? i cant find one anywhere? and are the gaskets that autozone any good for the turbo gasket i need, ive seen some threads were some people said felpro sucked but whats your opinion

Yes you should get a reducer coupler, you want them as tight as possibe so nothing leaks. Yes you need a gasket for your downpipe or you're going to have an exhaust leak.

Summit has good prices on stainless Steel braided lines & AN fittings for your oil lines.

Summit is good or Slowboy Racing has a page with just Misc. fitting and whatnot on it. I would say find a NAPA and get there Turbo Mounting Gasket Set. If you are using the mitsubishi style manifold an housing that is. For 35 you get all stainless steel turbo to manifold and turbo to o2 with oil return gaskets and a few other little one's. I'm sure Autozone has the same kit and Felpro is a very good brand of gasket. Most people that are against a certain gasket either installed it wrong or did something to make it fail.
