Fernco couplers, can they handle 20psi?

i'm building my upper ic pipe, and im using 2 fernco couplers. basically available at any pluming store. can they handle 20psi effectively?
just curious, i know silicone is better, but i have these and want to know how they will work

yes for a short time. but they will split under that kind of pressure.

hmm, well i never plan on seeing more then 15. most likely 12-14, so we shall see.

Are Ferncos meant _just_ for drains, or for supply as well? 80psi for domestic water isn't unheard of.

Mine lasted a week. So they work until they explode. I'd suggest fiberglassing over them
