Couplers???

i am making me an intake for my 1g and i was kinda wondering the couplers do u guys think that the turbo might get to hot and melt the one that holds the intake to the turbo???

I have used both silicone, and nitrile. Not a problem, it doesn't get too hot to cause any problems.

wut about the ones u get at ace hardware they look like rubber??

I've used ones from home depot. You don't really have too much to worry about on the compressor side if the turbo it doesn't really get hot enough to cause any damage.
