hey everyone i have run into an issue with my 420a there is a ticking noise coming from in between my intake manifold and my valve cover so i am assuming it is my injectors i have used seafoam and octane booster but the sound remains it sat all last winter i know the injector size for a stock 420a is 190cc but i cant find oem replacements so my question is what can i do to find them or clean them to see if i can get the noise to go away i am almost certain its not lifter tick or valve tick i will try to post a video soon.

any input would be great thanks.

What is the voltage going to the injectors? Make sure your ignition cables are secured to your coil pack, not having them secured can cause a ticking sound.

Have you tried dodge neon fuel injectors ?

I believe i herd that the ticking gets louder as the injectors get older. You can normally find stock used injectors around part outs for really cheap. If you want new ones, Autozone was willing to order them rather easily for me, but you are talking a LOT more money.

yeah autozone wanted around 70 per injector which stinks my buddy said he would take them apart and clean them but i was just looking to get new ones the problem is 190cc's are impossible to find and i can guarantee mitsubishi wants more than the book value of my car for four of them LOL

all of a sudden im getting the feeling it might be lifter tick how hard are those to replace?

It is normal. They do it with age. You can send them to any injector manufacture or even a local performance shop that might know where to get them cleaned and flow tested or just replace them. Seafoam and Octane Booster especially will not help this problem. As long as the resistance is not out of range you can use them.
