Fans not working on there own.

Im just wondering what controls the fans to turn on the 2g? Coolant sensor right? I have a 6bolt swap in my car and I installed the 2g coolant sensor on the 1g thermostat housing. Everything use to work b4 the new motor swap. Now Im having a problem with the fans turning on. I nearly overheated the other day and didnt hear the fans kick in when my engine was hot. So I turned it on manually through dsmlink. So if the temp gauge works and the fans work y arent my fans turning on, on there own?

You may air in the cooling system. Bleed the air out.

check the switch in the radiator bottom left if your looking at car

2g dont have a switch on the radiator.

On a 2g the ECU controls the speeds based on engine water temp, vehicle speed, and whether A/C is on/off (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=86862&d=1219990229). Also the 2 wire ECT sensor is used (the 1 wire is for the dash gauge).
