Fake Holset

Hey i was just wondering if anyone ever fan one of the knock off holset turbos on ebay.... or if the internals are interchangeable with real holset parts

i did i found a couple threads explaining how to id one but none saying if theyve ever tested one

in ebay most of the stuff is fake (knockoff) but some of the parts come good and you get for what you pay for

The only actual proven not "entirely worthless" things on ebay, FMIC's, WG actuators, and the exhaust housing on those garbage turbos.

I have seen a few people run the HX turbos off ebay on their Cummins motors. Some lived and some didn't it was really luck of the draw.
