Factory rad fans

1g TSi. I know 1 fan is triggered when the motor reaches a certain temp and the other for the A/C and Some kind of Block or thermo thing on the A/C fan.
I have removed my A/C since swapping the motor. I wanted to know if I could run the fans in series? I want them to both turn on at the same time basically with the same amount of power. It has probably been discussed before but I have been searching and haven;t come up with anything. And no I don't really want to run a switch inside. I just don't like it'kinda sloppy to me

Why do you want both fans running and sucking excess power? When you're in motion, the fans are not in use as the flowing air is adequate enough to cool the radiator. They only kick in at idle or maybe in heavy traffic.

I think you meant wire them in parallel (not series). Yes you can connect the blue-red wire of the radiator fan to the blue of the AC fan so they will always go on together. [Or you can remove the "condenser fan motor high-lo change-over relay" and jumper the blue-white to the blue.]

Well the thermostat I have opens at 190* but sometimes the car will go up to 210* before it starts too cool down. So I kinda feel like the one fan may not be enough to cool the motor down fast enough. What would you recommend? Just pulling the A/C fan out and only running the 1 fan?

Get a stant 170* thermostat from Autozone. I was plagued with high temperatures with the oem thermostat and after putting his colder one in my temps rarely go over 200. It does take longer to warm up however.

whats the part number on that t-stat? 14077? I remember seeing it, but I dont remember the exact number

Get lower thermostat if you don't mind taking longer to get heat inside and/or heat doesn't then get hot enough with the lower thermo. Otherwise, and/or if still overheating, wire both fans in parallel.

Well it's not overheating it just gets warm sometimes and then starts to cool down. As for right now a lower thermostat in the winter doesn't help when its freezing outside. Maybe it's just a sign that it should be garage kept during the winter Do the slim fans draw less power than factory fans? Because I see people running dual slim fans
