Extra Tranny cooler... possible use as an oil cooler?

I have a B&M transmission cooler, for automatic transmissions. I'm not sure what part number it is, but its similar to those listed on this page (http://www.martelbrothers.com/catalog/category_50_Cooling_Systems_Transmission_Coolers_page_1.html) I was wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't use this as an external oil cooler in the drivers side fender wall. Can't see any reason why i shouldn't, however they are "different" parts listed for oil and tranny coolers. I belive it is a 24k GVW cooler.

Also, which would be the best way to mount it?
i was thinking that because i would be removing balance shafts, the oil pressure will be higher, and i could just tap a line off after the oil filter, through the cooler, and then to the turbo. would i be better off running all the oil through this cooler? Any thoughts suggestions? reasons why this would be bad?"

to run an oil cooler you need a '90 oil filter housing with the ports for the cooler. If there is different part numbers then they are different. I have seen some tranny/oil coolers though, call B&m and ask them.

You can use it, just have to buy the 90 setup.
